My works
‘Desserts’ and ‘Picnic’ inhabit fond memories of spending time with friends.
The works explore how the act of gathering and consuming food brings people
closer together. As the nature of sharing a meal with loved ones is ephemeral,
these watercolours encapsulate the joy felt and savoured during these moments. In
a time where we are so often apart from those closest to us, these seemingly
quotidian practices carry a kind of love that feels personal and comforting.
